Left arm hurts like a bitch. Currently have a splint on my arm in case that helps the wrist. First thought: Am I going to be like Bennett from Dollhouse? Second: No, I'm not Summer Glau. Me playing crazy would be less awesome and more scary.

Also, saw Sherlock Holmes. Never read any Sherlock Holmes books so I just enjoyed it and didn't think about how accurate it was. According to textile major friend, the costumes are fairly spot on except for Irene's pink dress (she would be assumed to be a hooker in that) and the old clergy man wearing britches. Only little boys would be wearing those at that time. I told her he obviously likes little boys. Lots of laughs and innuendo had by all during the showing and I snuck (sneaked?) in a Wawa hoagie for dinner-y goodness. Yummy and entertaining. May see it again with other friends tomorrow. Really want the soundtrack.

Saw Invictus, too. Went with the 'rents. Very moving and good. As said before, accents were awful. Still, Morgan Freeman can pull off the Mandela gravitas. Good on him.

Time to catch up on Doctor Who specials. Haven't seen the last three. DUN TELL ME WHAT HAPPENS.

"Irene's pink dress (she would be assumed to be a hooker in that)"

Okay, good, I'm glad I wasn't wrong for thinking that. Y'know, when I wasn't too busy being distracted by Watson's fabulous wardrobe. No, I don't want him, necessarily, just his clothes. *_* (Oh. And the slashiness of this movie was awesome.) Speaking of clothes, did you stay for the credits? I thought what they did with the credit for the costume designer was cute. XD

We didn't stay that far into 'em but I can if I go again tomorrow (well today).

Nothing entirely special, just clever. Would you mind if I told you, so you don't have to stick around if you don't want to?

So the credits flash with a sketch of some scene from the movie. The costume designer credit flashed with a sketch of Holmes tied -- naked, remember -- to the bed. I was amused. :D

Hahaha! I may make us stay just in case.

The Doctor has another meta crisis and decides to give his second copy to the Master.

I like that ending better than what we got. Is the Master officially dead? I didn't see a body!

No body no death. And it's the Master. I don't think his death ever really counts.

That's what I thought. That whole bringing him back scene didn't really work for me in general with all the potions and whatnot. They did that cult thing on Dark Angel and it didn't work out on that show either.

Yeaaaah the line between sci-fi and magic-ish really isn't all that thin and sci-fi shows seriously need to learn to not cross it. I never did see all of Dark Angel. Should I?

I like the first season, it's the second season where they bring in the cult stuff. Then it was canceled so we never get a satisfying conclusion.

Also, if the Doctor dies, does meta crisis Doctor die? What about the Doctor bit of Donna? I mean, he's technically alive but in the eleventh form so maybe that connection is still there. And how the hell did Alonso get to an alien bar?!

The movie has begun to eat my brain. I hate it when I'm a fan of a franchise but it's one of those things that's sort of in the background or part of your childhood and then you see a movie and suddenly BAM! OMG I'm all about Holmes again just like when I was twelve! It's made me want to go back and read all the books and stories again. *sigh*

Also, I have the film soundtrack (it's wonderful) if you want it. What's an uploading site that works for you?

What upload sites does your computer not have issues with?

Oh, mediafire is best. If you can't do that, megaupload is also okay.

Wow, Mediafire has gotten fancy with their uploading system.

Anyways, here you go!

lol I told Rob too that yeah, the costumes were fairly accurate except for this one weirdo wearing 1790s clothes (kneebreeches??!)

Haha! You and Angela should meet and chat about inaccurate costuming.

and its understandable that older people have slightly outdated clothes than younger people (as can be expected) but this was like 80 years from the time period (1880s) it was set!

I'm sorry about your arm though.

Conveniently, I have a doctor appointment on Friday so I'll just bring it up in addition to the normal stuff. Am currently chillin' on the couch with a hot water bottle and my wrist in an ace bandage to keep me from potentially screwing it up more.

If my doctor were into Dollhouse, I totally would. Alas, I think she's unaware of all things Joss.
