In English we were given various essays to read and respond to that were all personal narratives (none written by anyone in our class...they were probably from the internet). Most were okay, one I read was amazing and one I read was utter and complete crap. My response was something to the effect of this:
This paper is full of grammatical errors and sounds more like netspeak than real English. I'm unimpressed. There is the possibility that the writer of this essay does not actually speak English, which would explain the lack of correct grammar, puntuation, etc.
And in the morning I told off this kid who has a HUUUGE ego. He initially thought I was joking but I think it sunk in a bit. He's such an ass to my friends that I don't care. Sometimes being bitchy is justified...and, truthfully, it felt really good to be sassy.
