'stumes stories

Today was a nine o'clock day for the lurvely costumes crew. We worked very hard and accomplished oh-so much! I finished Allison King's mockup and it is the ugliest thing ever! It's a three piece jumper that's multicoloured. The back of it (which is now a two piece back because one piece did not work) is black, the two outer front pieces are pink (bright pink, that is) and the middle piece is yellow and the HUGE sleeves are the ugliest green you have ever laid your eyes on...It's the truth. But now, I get to do the real thing! I get to use a really cute checkered pink/white fabric and it's going to be so cute! I got really far today and am extremely proud.

We 'stumes-sters are very odd. We laugh at the most random things and do not stop. There may be five conversations going at the same time but they all seem to merge at different points. I love those girls. They are so much fun. Lauren cursed Angela with the "bobbin of doom!" I am proud to say that I added the "of doom" part. Unfortunately, the curse actually landed on my bobbin which proceeded to stop working correctly. Ditto for Becca's (Becca F.) bobbin.

I went out to catch my ride thinking that my dad was there in his car. So, I walked up to the car and the man inside rolled the window down and said something like "I don't think so". I was so embarrassed. I've done worse before, like that one time I actually got into the stranger's car and then realized that he was not my dad...that was a horrible one. Damn my dad's car for being so similar looking to other ones in the dark!

I'm really tired right now and my leg hurts a bit...
