I like 'in-service' days

Despite being given a million long term projects with parts of them due soon I'm in a pretty good mood. I need to finish my Moore class stuff first, of course. I have been given vague instructions for the other things anyway.

Give me ideas for my paper, pretty much anything goes as long as it has to do with themes in Ender's Game, Catcher in the Rye, and Othello (ie. power, manipulation, etc). It doesn't even have to be specifically about the book/story, it can be an event that shares the theme.

We aren't going to Toronto this Memorial Day weekend *pout*. My Aunt Elaine and her family are going on a vacation to some interesting place as they do often. I miss my cousins.

Must go off and finish up boards.

I just talked to Bri via AIM. He's "partying it up in the Holy Land", or in other words in Israel. He's having fun despite certain aspects. He may kill me for this but I am posting a part of our conversation (don't worry, I'm not giving out your screen name).

Me: the picture quality is not the best, unfortunately
Bri: I still think it's really weird that you started talking to her online and then met her.
Me: It is really weird but I like to think of it as a penpal

Bri: Well good stuff, I suppose.
Me: yeah, and I should have written to another one of them...I keep forgetting to, though

Me: and no, none of them have my address
Bri: Good to know.
Bri: You are a smarty-pants.
Me: I'm not wearing pants right now...just shorts
Bri: Really?!? SHORTS?!?!? sidenote: I NEVER wear shorts, ever. Not counting PJs.

Me: I'm in my pajamas
Me: rather comfortable

Me: because it's an in-service day
Bri: Gotcha
Me: and you wouldn't have believed me if I told you that I was cutting and secretly plotting world domination in my spare time
Bri: What what?
Bri: Do tell.
Me: I can't...it's top secret
Bri: Haha
Bri: What about the cutting part?
Me: I'm not cutting
Bri: I promise I won't tell mom.
Me: No, I really am not, it's an in-service day

And I'm not cutting. It is an in-service day (as has been said previously).
