Tis a silly place...
May. 2nd, 2004 11:39 amI actually went to see Fools tonight with people. Roo's mum gave me a ride there (it was completely full plus their dog, Magic, who I am going to steal). Magic stepped on Roo's manly parts, that wasn't very nice of her. Anyway, the show was amazing last night! There were lines added for fun, different dance moves in there just to make people laugh, etc. After it was all over, being an honourary "Player" for this show I went backstage and helped props put stuff away. Then we were all off to the cast party (which, technically, I wasn't supposed to go to but tons of non-Players people go so I thought I should, too).
We all got to Matt's house and eventually he brought down his movies for us to choose one to watch. There was an almost unanomous vote for Monty Python and the Holy Grail and we watched that. I've never watched that movie fully/almost fully awake before. It's always been about 2 AM when I've seen it so I laughed at everything. I still did, that movie is great. I heart Monty Python. And it was amazing watching it with theatre people, most of them knew the entire script and were saying it along with it. Every time the music came on for them to be travelling/doing some brave we all sang along. Ah, bonding experiences.
Karli was supposed to give me a ride home from the party but she left without me...at midnight. Luckily, Nonnee was still there and she lives much closer to me than Karli so she was able to give me a lift. We watched The Critic until 12:30 when Nonnee's dad showed up, we were the last people to leave Matt's house. Twas so fun!
Unfortunately now I have a headache and sore throat, though that may be allergies.
