This has been a very very eventful long weekend. Friday was Caitlin's party, Saturday was Avi's and then Ben's movie thing, Sunday was Seashore/dance.
Avi's party was great! I got to her house around 11:30 AM 'cause my parents were off to Baltimore to see some cousins. I finallay met Zaina, whom Avi has been talking about for a bit and I had wanted to meet for a while. She's really cool. We went to the park where the party was to be and set up a bit and then retired to the swings! I haven't gone on swings for so long!!! Eventually everyone else came and we ate, opened presents, played frisbee, etc. I loved it.
At 7:30 PM I was taken to Ben's house where I had arrived just around the beginnning of The Shining. The movie didn't scare me too much which surprised me...I thought it'd be really creepy. I met Allie and Adina, two girls from Connecticut. They're really cool. Adina taught us some of "her language"- as in Connecticut slang. Much fun.
Sunday- Seashore trip/ USY dance. We were taken to the New Jersey shore and walked about the boardwalk. I got henna! I have a dragon on my lower left side of my back. I would've gotten center back but my bag was hitting there and the woman said it would be better to go for side of back. Anyway, twas fun. Then there was the dance. Kinda boring. Began dancing eventually 'cause it was all I could do. Everywhere I turned there were couples making out (or more) on the dance floor. If only their parents knew...
Today is when I do my work and watch all of the Horatio Horblower DVDs and videos I rented from the library. Ioan is awesome.
