Sep. 5th, 2004 10:32 pmYesterday, Cara and I went to see "Vanity Faire". It was confusing. The costumes were beautiful. Outside of the theatre we saw Laura, the lighting sponsor for our school's theatre group. She had just seen the film, too, and was as baffled as we were. Interesting film...I just don't quite know what the point was other than her being a social climber.
Today, Jason came over and helped my mum and I out with our basement. After that we went to see "Napoleon Dynamite". This film was very fun! Both of use enjoyed it muchly. Instead of going home we got some ice cream and then walked around. Once we got to my house we walked to the park and went around the path once, then I went to my house and he to his. Good times.
Tomorrow is the last day of freedom and I'm going to spend it shopping for carpet.
On the bright side, I don't have a class first period on the first day of school. And this coming weekend I may be able to go to the RennFaire with Roo and his family (if he says it's okay). Hopefully this year will be better than last.
