Sep. 27th, 2004 05:54 pmIt's not fair...well, it is but not to my advantage which makes it fair but evil (for me). Players is organizing a trip to Broadway to see a show. Not just any show: Wicked! I've been begging my mother to get tickets to see Wicked for ages! I have heard snippits of the soundtrack and love it already (in fact, at least three people promised me a copy of their CD and have yet to deliver). Anyway, only thespians are allowed to go. If I had worked last show, I may have become a thespian but didn't because I had design class and that took time to do. Still, not fun. And only 18 of the thespians are going to go. I still want to go. Grrr.... /rant
On a more positive note, tea is good.
Tomorrow we make diarammas (sp?) in theatre arts. Hehe! Our warm up today involved having to make a skit using only one word. Cara, Alex and I worked together. In it I walked in on Cara and Alex having some "fun" together (Eric- the guy who had been leading warm ups- said "I like where this skit is going"). Our word was "what?" and we had to communicate all of our emotions using the one word. At the end I made up with Alex (to which Eric says, "That's right, kiss and make up!") and Cara. Tomorrows is us having to do calesthetics (sp?) to our favourite movie scene. Caitlin and I are going to do the 'now you will receive us!' scene from "Boondock Saints". Must do research on this scene- as in watch it over and over again until entire scene is memorized. I have a part of it committed to memory already. Yes, I am a loser.
Design class begins this coming Saturday! Level 2 was full so they moved me to 3 because I already know how to sew. I'm going to be so behind...oh well. *squee*
