First period today was gym. As usual we played badminton. Unsually, we had three on one side of the court and two on the other (I was in charge of the "front" on the side with three). At one point one of my partners and I went for birdie simultaneously. I think he hit it first but his follow through landed on my face. I felt numb but okay. Apparently I was bleeding and he was freaking out because he thought he'd killed me. I felt fine. He walked me to the nurse and I got to wash up and some ice. The nurse looked at it and my teeth, none had been chipped or broken. He told me that I was very brave 'cause he would have been crying when I was the one assuring him that I was okay. Either way, now I have a cut on my lip that is a pain in the ass. Jess told me that she was jealous as I look like I've been in a bar fight and come out on top. She told me that guys would be wanting me because of my cool cut or something. Strange girl but very fun. After the nurse excursion we came back and played some more badminton half-heartedly and with more caution. Not a very good way to begin the first day of school in a new year.
Louise (
sneeze042) was awesome and let me borrow her Revolutionary Girl: Utena Animerica graphic novel (volume 1). So far it's confusing but very enjoyable. It's a quick read, too, which is even better. Perfect to use as a procrastination tool and very fun to read. Plus, the artwork is pretty cool. Thanks Louise!
In conclusion, dreams are very weird and trying to find meaning within them is a pain the ass.
