Atlantic CityNess
Aug. 14th, 2005 07:58 pmInstead of doing this in paragraph form I'm just going to list the main parts of my Atlantic City trip with the parents:
- The hotel was pretty nice. We stayed at the Claridge. On Saturday I got lost trying to get back to our room from the boardwalk entrance. It was an adventure.
- We went to the beach.
- On Saturday I stayed in the room mainly and took advantage of cable television. I really don't like many of the girls from "My Super Sweet Sixteen" as they are WAY too bratty and spoiled. The "100 Most Metal Moments" was very entertaining.
- I got some purty skirts.
- I drew on the paper they put over table cloths and they manager of the restaurant (at least I think he was the manager) came over and looked at it and asked if he could keep it. So I signed it (and drew a stick figure pirate with an eyepatch saying "Arrr" because I'm a loser) and dated it...except I wrote the wrong date because it's the summer and I don't keep track and the parents didn't answer me when I asked them. Still, one of my drawings was kept by a restaurant in the Trump Plaza. That's pretty damn cool!
(The drawing is a half of an old woman's face and one of a croquis wearing a random dress I felt like drawing on her)
- We saw "Legends in Concert". Fake!Prince was my favourite. Then there was the cute-dancer-boy...he was fun to look at.
- Sunday there was a bit of beaching it up. Then visiting the Tropicana.
It was a nice trip but I'm glad to be home...in my own room...away from snoring parents. Did I mention that I got very little to no sleep last night? Yeah. Caffeine is my best friend.
