And...back!

IC is done. I have to admit, I'm relieved. As much fun as some parts were I'm glad to be home. I met some cool people, davaned my ass off (and didn't like it much) and am so ready to get back to my usual vacation routine of sleeping in late and doing very little. Matan is now the International President of USY, by the way. [fun fact: The following are suggestions when using the spellcheck feature on LJ for Matan's name--Satan, Martini, Manna, Mathian (Mathian? That's less common than Matan!), Madman, Mutant, Maytag, Tartan, Maiden, Matey] There was lots of applause. We are all very happy about it! Yay.

So, yeah. Overall a good experience. Not ready to do it again anytime soon, though. Too much Judaism. I mean, it's not bad...I'm just not into the whole religion thing. I feel like praying is just feeding God's already overly inflated ego. The guy created the world, I get it. Now maybe he should do what he did in the past and intervene when things get totally fucked. I'm not so sure I feel okay with telling God that he's doing an awesome job when there's a lot of killing and dying that I'm pretty sure is unnecessary. Of course, that's just my view. Go pray your heart out if you feel the need. Some of the tunes are pretty.

Now I'm gonna go read 45874059784320804385093248 pages of friends entries that have accumulated over the past five days.
