Jun. 26th, 2006 10:08 pmToday was the first day of work and the first bartending class. I think I'm going to do the Saturday classes in Old City because it's just easier. Well, sort of. It's easier in the sense that I don't have to stay awake from 7:40 AM to 10:00 PM and be continuously active throughout that period of time. I don't know if I can deal with overactive three year olds during the day and then learn how to mix drinks and whatnot at night...too much to do.
Overall it was a good day. The kids are cute, if not overly enthusiastic about everything. I have learned all of their names and even some siblings names. Because of the rain our entire day was thrown off track and it was mainly us entertaining trying to keep them entertained for hours. It worked out, though, so that's good. Hopefully tomorrow it won't rain so we can go into the pool.
Bartending was cool, too. I learned how to mix sours and some margaritas. It's not easy but definitely not rocket science. I just hope the Saturday thing works out. I've already missed one class because it seemed to make more sense to take weekday classes...but I've already ranted about that.
So, yeah, I'm just gonna drink some tea and watch more of the "Smallville" DVDs I decided to buy on a whim. It's highly entertaining. Pity I couldn't get the seasons in order. I have 2 and 4 in my possession but 1 and 3 continue to allude me. Still, me likey watching Michael Rosenbaum being all ambiguously evil. *giggle*
