Quick Update
Aug. 4th, 2007 07:15 pmCurrently in London at the hostel, stealing a computer for a few minutes. It's really nice. Kind of like a cheap hotel (minus some of the hotel perks)...Actually, I kind of think of it as a dorm room with more roommates. I barely spend any time here. Which is kinda bad since I don't know many people here (it's so big and most people are here in groups so those of us who are just there alone are left to our own devices 'cause people don't talk much to strangers). I made friends with a girl named Liz who's currenly looking for a job in Swiss Cottage, she's moving here soon.
Other than that I've been hanging out with my cousin Lynda and her niece and her niece's friend. Aviva (niece) and I went to 'We Will Rock You' which is still very funny and very entertaining. That happened on my first day. I was exhausted.
And then yesterday we went to the Camden markets (Lynda, Devin-Aviva's friend-, and a family Lynda knows). It was nice but a little rushed. Well, I didn't see everything I wanted to see because we were focusing more on what everyone else wanted to see and I felt like I was just tagging along for the ride instead of actually being a part of their group. That night I went to the Tate Modern with Devin and met some of her friends. They were very nice.
Today I met up with family friends and went to the National Gallery with them and then to tea with them. It was lovely.
Now I'm waiting for cousin Kevin to call. Hopefully we'll meet up. Otherwise, I've no idea what I'm doing tonight.
More later...I'm sorta kinda keeping a journal like
molassesturtle did but am very lazy about it. Will scan that in like she did since it's an awesome idea.
