Oct. 9th, 2007 02:26 amSo 4 out of the 7 shirts I'm making are done (two men's small, one men's large, one men's medium--possibly keeping this one). I was supposed to be done last week but my teacher tends to just go on and on so we don't really get much done in class despite it being 3 hours long. He's a nice guy...just doesn't realize that we would rather do our own thing. I'm not exactly comfortable with silk screening yet but I'm hoping to get the hang of it soon. Preferably on Wednesday, when I plan to do my work for it. I have three dark shirts and it's hard to see the TARDIS layer through the screen so I haven't figured out how to line the windows up with it yet. Anyway, I hope to get that done soon. We need a "companion piece" to this first project (his words) and I'm thinking of doing multi-layered TARDISes repeated more so on a shirt or the Doctor repeated if I want to stick with this Who theme. Or I'll do something completely unrelated. Keeping my option open at the moment.
SOOO much work!!! And midterms are next week. I'm probably going to freak out soon. I don't feel like I've accomplished much so far. I need to redo half the work so this weekend will be super fun filled. I should get more color ink...and a printer that can do Tabloid size would be fabulous. Fwah! I hate the labs. They have such inconvenient hours.
At the moment, however, I am sort of ahead on work. Which means I'm gonna watch Smallville instead of getting even more ahead and starting to redo my illustration work. W00t for procrastination!
