arielarenaThere is a spider a few feet away from me. If it comes any closer I will have to killilate it. This involves a really long pole and...killilating.
My pictures came today. I hate them. I have that "take the picture or I will personally rip your heart out and make you eat it" look on my face...except with a smile. And my hair is poofy. Poofy hair must die.
Pep rally today. In the beginning I had some pep but that died out after various teachers did a dance number. I think it has to do with being traumatised from seeing Mr. Kelly and Mr. Schane dance. The drill team was awesome, though. Very, very good- as always. Cheerleaders- meh. They annoy me more than entertain me. Some of them are friends or acquaintances so I like those people...others just piss me off. Not because they are cheerleaders but because they use that position to define who they are and attempt to fill in the stereotype. Except that our football team doesn't win too often...and many of the players are the 'poetic- jock' type. Whatever. It got me out of class.
I have an article in The Merionite. Most of the words aren't mine. I wrote things that said those things but not in those exact words. I don't want to take credit for someone else's words that are actually better than mine. There is a bunch of stuff that's still mine in there. I know that I should be proud but I couldn't bring myself to read it all the way through because it was like reading someone else's article that just happened to have my name on it. On the bright side, the interview with Marc Blucas was in it this month. Arielle still has the tape of the full interview and said I could listen to it sometime...or at least I will ask her if I can. (I still can't believe that they asked him what it was like to kiss Sarah Michelle Geller but NOT to take his shirt off again. Seriously, it's not like we haven't seen it before)
