Holy crap it's real!

arielarenaWe had our first PDSM (production design staff meeting) today! I'm actually on the design staff!!! OMFG! It was actually really relaxed. I'm felt quite calm.
I'm working with Mel. She is the designer (I'm her assistant) and a very nice girl. Her misgiving about us working together was that I'm two years her senior but I really don't care. She was the assistant last show so she has the experience for costume designer, not me. Anyway, I think it will work out with her. The designs she has so far are very pretty. I've been assigned to do four on my own and we'll go over it all together...sounds good so far. I've done a bunch of research so I feel more prepared than before. *deep sigh* This can definitely work...even with SAT tutoring.
The only problem is SAT stuff...whatever.
Oh, and that I think that I made a crap impression with her mother and Mel probably thinks I listen to only movie soundtracks or something. I'm not good with directions...it's a flaw.
But yes. Adri is assistant costume designer for the Spring comedy, Arsenic and Old Lace. Old ladies who kill people...yay!
