It was fun. I talked to Cousin Al about books and with Jon about ceramics. Apparently actors are told to read this book called "Centering" about ceramics. He was explaining to me why it was relevent but then Al came over and they swapped places and the book discussion ensued.
I mainly hung out with my cousins Antonia and Justine (aka the twins). We shared a room in the hotel. Antonia wants to be an actress (which is why she subtly hints to Jon to get her contacts) and Justine wants to do something in science. So does Natasha. She wants to be a doctor. She's adorable and really smart. To understand how intelligent this girl is you have to keep in mind that she's only 9. She's 9 and she read the ENTIRE Grey's Anatomy in 3rd grade and UNDERSTOOD it. Seriously. She's one of the smartest kids I've met. She acts really mature, too. Her brother wants to be a rockstar/popstar/soccer player/movie star. He looks like a mini-Harry Potter (except with blue eyes, dark brown hair-not black- and no scar) in hipster glasses. Very cute. He got annoyed when I told him that he was a hip Harry Potter, though. While I didn't spend as much time with them, Miranda and Simone (Antonia and Justine's little sisters) were painfully adorable. Just seeing them sit there all exhausted is cute. They're really sweet girls. Simone kept avoiding Brian (my brother) for some reason. They were probably playing some game. I can't describe the interaction in any way other than cute.
Overall a fun weekend. I like my family and I love seeing them. It was a good time.
