You know you're a horrible student when...

You decide to dye your hair instead of doing homework. Oh yeah, I'm sitting here with my hair covered in dye. In twenty five minutes I will be more of a purpley red brunette rather than just a plain brunette. This is what happens when I feel random, have hair dye, and don't want to work. At least I'm not sleeping right now, which I considered seeing as I almost fell asleep in English. Again. But now I'm sort of energized and know that if I fell asleep now I'd be screwing myself over big time sleep schedule-wise.

So, this past weekend I went home. It was nice. Good food. Good people. The parents. Mum is actually coming to NYC for a meeting on Thursday so I'll be seeing her again. She's going to see if she can make it so the meetings are on Tuesdays, which works really well with my school schedule, so we can have regular mother-daughter hang outs before she has to go work. She has promised to take me to Alice's Tea Cup. And she'd better. I heart that place.

I loved getting a chance to see a bunch of friends this past weekend. It was great to catch up! I miss you all! *hugs to everyone* Aw, "Hips Don't Lie" just came on iTunes. This reminds me of the random dance parties we'd have. And when I say dance party I mean just breaking out into dance at weird moments because a song we liked was on the radio or something. Oh yeah, good times. *feels nostalgic*

Pratt's pretty good. My roommate slept in the room for the first time ever last night. It was weird. I wasn't used to sharing a room at night so I didn't sleep well. Let's just say that Adri was not in the best mood this morning. Luckily I have great people in my 3D class and they cheered me up. And tomorrow is a 3 hr class day! And the Pants Off Dance Off! And the LOST marathon! I gotsta get my homework done early so I can go to all of these things. And I hear there's a party on Saturday. Maybe I'll actually attend my first college party. It's about time, really.

Just FYI, there is nothing wrong with falling asleep in class. As long as you're there, that's really all that matters. You're bound to absorb some of the info subconsciously, right? I know it worked for me... I slept and/or crocheted through every Spanish class I ever took in college, and now I teach it!

*pokes back* I'm doing the homework I should have done earlier this week. I wanna do some of my LCD but I may just forget it and check out the LOST thing and I'm definitely gonna go to the Pants Off Dance Off (in pants, of course...I'm not big on strangers seeing my underroos). You should come! With or without pants. Your choice.

You weren't there! I missed ya. I only stayed for a few minutes...there are some things I saw that cannot be unseen. Overall, however, it was very entertaining.

Someone is yelling something like "I'm not going to take it anymore" outside of my window. And another person yelled back, "Don't jump! Your life is worth living" and a third said, "Don't hit us!" It all sounds so contrived that I think it's a joke. But dammit, it's freaking loud.
