Torchwood (possible spoilers)

arielarenaJust watched Something Borrowed. Am I the only one who thinks that Jack/Gwen is forced?
So the whole "I would have been married already if I hadn't met you" bit? So not feeling it. He's all "OMG Gwen, go home to Rhys!" during the first season and now he's all "Man I wish I was tapping that instead of Ianto." Speaking of Ianto. I didn't know what to think of his character first season and now I kind of love him. Raised never to speak ill of the dead indeed! Anyway, Jack and Gwen's unrequited feelings are annoying and don't jive with the flow of the season. I like this whole mysterious past of Jack. I like learning that he was married once. That's all interesting. Gwen/Jack, not so interesting. Rather annoying, really (my opinion, obviously). You can't have it all, Gwen, and you've made your choice. Suck it up and stop throwing longing looks at Jack (and Jack, stop returning them. You have Ianto!).
On the bright side, we got more of confident/hot Tosh! I love it when she's feisty. And kicking ass. More Tosh! Come on Torchwood gods, don't let me down!
James Marsters is going to come back later this season, right? I want more Captain John (minus the crappy coat...couldn't he have stolen his Spike coat and showed up all ultra-sexy?).
Wow, it's late. And I'm sort of sick...I really should go to bed. 'night ya'll!
