Apparently I was on ABC News last night...

ETA: It's not exciting, that's why I didn't elaborate. But since an explanation is wanted I shall give you one.

I was heading back to school from 30th St Station (Philadelphia) to New York. I was first in the line for the train because Philly puts the stairway up really ridiculously early and I'm standing there for maybe twenty minutes. Randomly, some dude comes up with a camera and begins filming. Me specifically. I had no idea what it was but I figured it had something to do with traveling over Thanksgiving weekend. Didn't know it was an ABC camera man because he wasn't wearing anything with any particular markings and his camera wasn't labeled. Pretty much his footage was of me looking awkward and trying to pointedly ignore him. Mum and Dad of course watch the news that night and see me. They aren't wearing their glasses so I'm not sure how they knew it was me and not some other short girl with curly hair. So yeah, I am on the news because they happened to film where I was standing. Not for anything interesting...like a bank robbery or something. Also, I hear that the heightened security at the station was due to threats. I just really wanted to play with the bomb sniffing dog.

I was wondering that, too. They didn't interview me...just filmed. Maybe that's where the difference is. I mean, I'm not angry about it, I kind of just wish there had been some explanation so it would have seemed less creepy.
