If I were at home right now, I'd totally apply for an internship at Attack of the Show in LA. They don't require any specific experience and it sounds like they'll teach you whatever you need to know. And it's nerd TV, which makes me happy. Well, that's not happening this summer. Perhaps after senior year.

It's a show on G4tv. It's apparently the best show to watch for info on upcoming gadgets, games and other random geek stuff. It sounded like they just wanted people with enthusiasm and basic knowledge of many of the programs they'd use to make their show (it's daily so they need whomever they can get). Sadly, the internship is a 12 week minimum and I wouldn't be home for long enough to do it.

Yeah, but I have family there that I would mooch off for housing. And AotS is lame but I hear it's still considered the best show in its genre. Mostly because there aren't many other shows like it. Still, it sounds like a good opportunity for the future.

Yeah, it's the only show in it's genre. TBH If I had family in LA I'd consider it too. In this circumstance I wish I were a 15 year old boy so I could appreciate G4 without my cynicism getting in the way. (not sarcastic) :(

Speaking of banging people, I told some friends here about the Volterra thing and now they want to go so we can see filming stuff in May. Do you know when/where exactly they're doing New Moon stuff?

all i know is mid to late may, and in volterra. but from the books, the scene takes place in a large crowded plaza type thing. ooh maybe you can be an extra.

The girls I met here want to go and I think I found that it's at the Piazza dei Priori around May 25th. Thing is, I have school and I don't know if they're filming over a weekend...we'll see what happens.
